above velvet air is the solo project of the frontman of a Filipino alternative rock band known as December Avenue. Drawing on years of experience as a songwriter and performer, he writes, produces, and performs everything himself under this new project, from the music to the visuals. With a background in acoustic, electronic, and ambient styles, above velvet air blends guitars, synths, piano, and harmonica to create a distinct sound. The project marks a shift toward full creative independence and a focus on self-produced, genre-blending music.
