Meet Nashville Exile

Composed of friends and family who have played together for years, Nashville Exile is driven by a shared passion for quintessential American songwriters like Jimmy Webb, Warren Zevon, and John Prine. The tight-knit group features singer and multi-instrumentalist Matthew Crozer, his cousin Cat Smithurst on vocals, her husband Mark Smithurst on bass, Amu Dennett on guitar and vocals, and Rick Kent on drums. After years of honing their sound behind closed doors, the band is finally stepping into the spotlight to share their music with the world. Nashville Exile is set to release a series of new tracks in the coming weeks, which will culminate in the arrival of their long-awaited debut album, Hand Drawn, in 2026.

Our Impact

This group launched a PlaylisterClub campaign for their track "The Alchemist" towards the end of March 2026. The continuous renewal of this playlisting campaign has ensured the track receives consistent exposure to engaged playlisters on the platform.

Since its launch date, this campaign has successfully gathered 99 total playlist placements, 14 curator reviews, and exposure to +2.2 million playlist followers.

Greater Success

This ongoing campaign has driven significant, multi-faceted growth for Nashville Exile. While their baseline Spotify monthly listeners have increased by over 10% from the launch date to this current report, the standout metric is their overall surge in audience. Throughout the campaign timeline, they leaped from 22,759 listeners to an impressive peak of 42,878, nearly doubling their reach and demonstrating the campaign's strong momentum.

We also noted a significant increase in overall Spotify followers since the start of the campaign. Growing from roughly 444 to 1,440 followers, the band achieved a remarkable 224% increase. This metric clearly showcases how these promotional campaigns extend beyond in-platform engagement to drive lasting fan retention.
