Meet Chasing Light

Forged in Las Vegas, Chasing Light delivers an explosive brand of alt-rock that is drenched in emotion and chaos. Built for the ones who feel too much, their sound bleeds unapologetic truth through haunting hooks and an undeniable midnight energy. Fronted by a vocalist who has shared the stage with Yungblud, the project carries some serious rock pedigree, featuring heavyweight collaborations with icons from The Cult, Adelitas Way, Kingdom Come, Warrant, and Hellyeah.

Our Impact

Chasing Light has trusted Songtools for their music promotion for a long time. In this case study, we'll be focusing specifically on their long-term playlisting campaign for the track "KILLER" which has been running since September 2025, and is currently still active on the platform. Throughout these months, this campaign has acquired 134 playlist placements, 32 curator reviews, and exposure to +5.3 million playlist followers.

What makes Chasing Light's journey truly special is that we were there from the very beginning. When they first launched this campaign, the band was effectively starting from scratch, with a recorded audience of just about 12 monthly listeners. Today, that number has surged to over 2,509 listeners—a massive 20,808% increase. While it's worth noting that they've utilized Songtools for a total of five releases during this period, the results speak for themselves: together, we've helped transform their presence from a quiet start into a thriving, multi-thousand-listener fanbase.

Greater Success

These campaigns, including the ongoing run for "KILLER," have acted as a catalyst for growth well beyond just listener numbers. Because these listeners were captured through organic discovery, the momentum translated directly into a massive surge in Spotify followers. Starting with fewer than 10 followers at their launch, Chasing Light has now built a dedicated core of around 240 listeners—a staggering 4,700% increase in their total following. This isn't just about passive play counts; it's a clear indicator that their branding and music are successfully converting "cold" traffic into a loyal community that is choosing to follow their journey, release after release.
